Awesome

That was frickin' awesome man. That was so hilarious. Keep up the kickass work.
The only problem I can see for a series like this is the inevitable retard coming up and giving it a zero because they have a 56k modem and they're too lazy to wait. Oh well, keep up the great work.

Knox responds:

well that inevitable retard couldnt keep this one down!
thank you for your patiance..i think i spelled that right..

Hehe sweet...

I thought it was funny. The movie was totally random, as totally random movies tend to be. You know what else is funny? The responses by the author(s). Hehe this rocks.

F8L responds:

i kno rite! I was all like reading the reviews and then I was all like.. dayum, I can respond and shit, and then like I did.. and it was like great. Whoa.

Weak

Let me get this straight. I can undestand the whole there being 3-4 really original animes out there, and with originality in movies and storyline rapidly drying out faster than you can say "Holy overdrived genre, Batman" it's not suprising. But you, an author who realizes this, should be actively striving to make your concept more original. I can't think of any suggestions, but I'm sure there are some more original ways to put a new spin on an old concept of the gunslinging hero one you are using.
Now, hold on a moment. So this will be an interactive game with its own website? It will have an involving storyline? It will be continuously updated with new levels and will be lots of fun? I'm sorry all I saw was some random (relatively poorly drawn, by the way) guy in a black flowing sort of trenchcoat and white pants who carries two large guns named Thanatos and Eros shooting and things. Then we see a bullet flying down a street, then we see a cheesy matrix effect rip off that doesn't really cut a 2 on a coolness scale going up to 10. Then more random shooting, then the guy gets shot and then his guns keep evaporating and reappearing, and then we learn that it is to be released later on and the site gunmage.com is displayed at the end. And I am supposed to understand this is a game how, just from the movie alone? I mean the only reason I understood this to be a game is because you said so in your rant review thing, but seriously some viewers don't care enough to read the stuff the authors of these movies write and so I'll bet a lot of them didn't get it. I mean you could have given us excerpts from the story, involve us more instead of having some guy fire guns in bizarre action poses to some cheesy japanese song that no one can understand. We need details, we need a reason to care about all of this, and I don't see a very good reason presented in this movie.
This thing is gonna be coming late into the fall, right? Try again, then. Maybe make another sort of trailer, release some details about the game, the story, the levels. Make us interested, because if the cheesy half-anime sort of drawing style doesn't kill the first trailer, the lack of any plot elements (or 'intellectual property' as you put it) will. Keep trying, use some of my advice and you'll have a 7 or an 8 right off the bat.

*Sigh, no no, you see, I love Hellsing, I think it awesome regardless of its inspirational origins. It LOOKED like it was taken from alot of things and it DID have alot of things from other animes, but the key was it had its own personality eventually. Sort of the difference between Rah Xephon and Dual!, both are criticized as Eva clones but Rah eventually breaks into its own mold, you just have to TRY to see past just the intro. In either case, when someone that made oh say one flash called Battlemoon X episode 1 and comes around telling me what to do to improve my work...Well? No thanks. If you are so quick to criticize lack of originality, please present your sparklingly work so that I may praise it, if not, well at least drop the hostility and at least give my story a chance like I hope people gave Hellsing and Rah Xephon and many other new animes a chance. I mean come on, Hellsing was GREAT cause it had a dark mantra about it, I'm just trying to emulate it.

Neat

Dude, that was pretty funny. Make more stuff like that, and longer, and you're set to kick ass, even for a stick movie.
I think, however, that I should point out the funny little spelling error you made.
Incompetence is the word you are looking for, it means stupidity.
Incontinence, the word you used, means an inability to control bowel movements and urination.
Fix the title and everything is good.

Fatmandoo responds:

Hehe, I actually thought of Incompetence Day as a name, but preferred Incontinence just cos it referred to uncontrollable bowel movements. Thanks for your observation anyhow :)

Blame your own shitty flash skills...

You leave Canada out of this. Go back and take a close look at what made that film the way it was.
Its kinda a bad thing when the characters start analyzing the shittiness of the move they are in.
I can't believe everyone who reviewed this. This is no better than a stick and it should probably be blammed like 70% of the content on NG.
When will the fools learn...?

Smos responds:

Well, some call it humor, some hate the shit out of it. This contradiction is something plato and Aristoteles allready discussed in about 400 BC. (They said that taste, colour and women are things you can't discuss...)

I can't blame you for hating this movie. I just think it's a shame you didn't found any positive things in it... (It's not like I didn't try!)
But that's maybe your character: you don't even allow us to view your profile! What are you afraid about? Critism?
hmmm...

Well, anyway, tnx for the review...
I hope you give other beginning flash-artists more slack...
